In this video you’ll learn about the history of this trick and why it’s sometimes called the Jamilla. Even though I feel my Thigh rest tutorial for this is great, I try to accommodate as many learning styles as possible. For some having a live lesson to follow along with works better for them.

  1. I am excited to try this now…I was wrapping my bottom hand around pole and not putting weight into my thigh enough. BUT I can’t do it yet. I think I strained my whole arm. The top arm hurts so much I can’t even pick up my pirse. Hurts from my wrist all the way up to front of my shoukder. Feels like a cramp that comes and goes. Bummer

  2. Yes, this is one where bottom hand placement is really important. I’ll be waiting to hear how it goes. Don’t rush it, keep working it from the low squat if you need to strengthen the grip for a few sessions or even a few weeks. 🙂
