New pole?
I love the grip on my LM, but want to get an X pole. Can anyone give me an idea on which finish would best compare? My LM is a 50 which is too big for my hands. I have a 45 too, so wondering about a 40mm. Advice? Thanks

The brass is by far the closest to a PC. What you COULD do is get the chrome 40mm and have it PCed. That way you can pick a fun color! 🙂 If I were you, I'd get the 40 since you already have a 45. It shouldn't be that much to PC it either. You just gotta shop around to make sure you don't get ripped off. Ask Witchess and JeHanne how much they paid.
For me, chrome and TG feel almost the same, but I could be weird in that sense.

It looks like XPole only offers 40mm in Chrome, you might want to give them a call. Their Titanium Gold finish or Brass generally will have more grip than Chrome but Powder Coat is one of the grippiest finishes out there meaning I don't think you will find anything comparable. You can always have your XPole powder coated if you determine you want a PC on a smaller diameter pole.

LOL… I was writing my post while SensualScimitar was. I did get my Platinum Stages brass pole powder coated. I enjoy powder coat but when I do drops I get burns because it is crazy grippy. I still like it but my favorite finish hands down is good ol fashioned Stainless Steel.
