Drop was probably the wrong wrong as I wouldnt actually drop, I flip 🙂 I videoed myself each time from when I started tonight and Phoenix you might be onto something, I did notice I was more relaxed when I started and when I tired I wasn’t quite getting it. My legs and hips were lower in the videos I didn’t spin so much. Squeezing harder also helped.
Thanks ladies you have given me a few things to think about. The good thing was I spent another hour building confidence (and tolerance, the pain wasn’t all that bad but that’s the joy of having a new xpole, a lil less grippy!) I struggle with it in class because the poles have good grip so I have to work with that there!
