I do know the entire NIN (Nine Inch Nails) Ghosts I album is free for use under the Creative Commons licence. It’s the music used in the TranZenDance video: http://www.youtube.com/user/TranZenDance#p/u/19/AZ1_tfLOIYY Some of the stuff on the album is a bit crazy and confronting, if you’re not into alternative or experimental or metal genres. But there’s also some calmer, prettier and sexy ones on there too.

I also think that any of the free stuff on http://www.garageband.com/ can be used anywhere too.

You can download Ghosts I from many torrent sites (it was uploaded there by the band themself, along with the message "Now that we’re no longer constrained by a record label, we’ve decided to personally upload Ghosts I, the first of the four volumes, to various torrent sites, because we believe BitTorrent is a revolutionary digital distribution method, and we believe in finding ways to utilize new technologies instead of fighting them. We encourage you to share the music of Ghosts I with your friends, post it on your website, play it on your podcast, use it for video projects, etc. It’s licensed for all non-commercial use under Creative Commons."). Or you can visit their website: http://ghosts.nin.com/main/order_options
