  What is it called??

  Hello Ladies!!! I notice some of the polers on here have circular flooring around their poles; some are black, and some are pink. What is this called? Right now I have my pole on carpet and find it hard to do floor work ( my carpet is kinda plush) so I am considering getting some kind of flooring to sit on top of my carpet to go around my pole. Any suggestions?? Tips?? Please let me know! Thanks!

  Dancer Ella, those are pole crash mats.  They catch you if you fall and cushioning.  It is a bit different that flooring but very necessary (I don't have one yet) if you are doing inverts and the more advanced moves.

  She may also be seeing stage poles.
