Hi! Even though you are intermediate still start by going through the beginner pole work and start by watching the first pole lesson. https://stage.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4dd006a7-c45c-4c1e-b6b6-4a870ac37250 This video tells you how to use the lessons. You don’t need to watch every video in the beginner section but it might be helpful to go through the pole and spin work. If you’re looking to work through things on your own move onto the intermediate section, just remember that the lessons are in order so they build on each other.

You’ll find a lot of helpful info in the Veena’s tips section, think of these lessons as mini workshops. Also you’ll see many options in the Routines and Combo section.

You could also try using the 30 day program but then add on any more advanced work that you like, I doubt you’d loose strength, you might be surprised at the gain you see. The 30 days doesn’t just include pole work, there’s conditioning, flexibility work and warm ups as well.

Anyway, whatever section you choose to work on just watch the first lesson this will give you the rundown on most things. Read all descriptions too! 🙂 We have a sale going on this week so nows the time to buy the year plan!

    Ah that’s super exciting! Congrats!!!

As far as my hair goes, I have naturally dark brown almost black hair so I bleach it first, then add the color. If you don’t bleach first you won’t get bright results, unless you have very blonde hair (I wish!!). The brand of color I use now is Arctic Fox, the color isn’t damaging and has conditioners in it that leave hair feeling soft so the only damaging aspect is the bleaching. I try not to overlap on to previously lightened hair when I redo my roots.

To keep color bright stay out of the sun, don’t wash it too often, but if your hair is oily it will fad the color too. lol You can also put a small amount of the dye in your conditioner to keep the color fresh. Colors like red, pink and purple seem to last the longest, blues and greens fade quickly! I hope you share pics with us when you do color your hair. 🙂

Remember that you don’t have to work on moves like this high up on the pole. If you don’t feel comfortable in handstand, try coming down onto the elbows and working on it. Keep working on the reverse handstand tho, you can do this every pole session and the inverted crucifix is a fundamental move that will help you with so many other moves and transitions. Don’t forget you can work on the reverse handstand by the wall!! Try adding any of the routines into your pole sessions that focus on lower body or add in some lower body exercises from the exercise section.

I’m glad to hear you are resting! As said, see a dr. I also do not agree with partner stretching, it’s a very bad idea, I know it’s common practice, but that doesn’t make it safe!

Members seem to like the flowmotion routine and the 30 days to flexy is great too! The promises of quick flexibility sounds great but overall you want consistency and proper training. This fb live talkes a bit about my thoughts on stretching and flexibility. https://www.facebook.com/studioveenacom/videos/10153819252579442/

You’ll get way more content than a dvd with the lessons here as well.

Being aware of the change that needs to be made is a very important step in correcting old body patterns. Anytime you workout or do any kind of exercise be sure to focus on holding the new correct posture.

Many of the conditioning exercises here will help improve body mechanics overall. Strengthening your abdominals and hips can help as well 😊

Have you tried the 30 day take off program here, to build your strength and technique back? There’s also my 30 day caterpillar program that’s a more advanced way to build strength! We can’t expect our bodies to get right back into all of the moves we once did. To pole with less injury and more progress a plan is so helpful! 💜
