Many instructors use the lessons, and very successfully. They’re broken down in a way instructors can use and descriptions add extra insight, like muscles used and so on. There are far more than 2 advanced lessons on the way. 😐 However, There are many ridiculously advanced Pro level, pole moves out there, far to much flexibility or the level of danger in executing is far to high for me to create lessons for. I want usuable, informative content.

Go to a playground or somewhere with a pole, it doesn’t have to be a proper pole 💜

The weight won’t be shifting only on the bottom hand. Continue working on a strong caterpillar and you’ll be able to remove the leg as you become stronger. Keep everything square until your balanced and secure. If you try to extend and turn the hips before you’re centered, you’ll have to fight falling to the side. This is often why those who use a Gemini entry tip over, they start off in a bit of a sideways, hips turned position and they forget to square the body. Exbutterfly takes a lot of strength so give yourself time. If you have the lessons here following in the order they’re presented will give you a good foundation for this move. 😊

If you have very sweaty hands gloves can be a great option. They are not required by any means though.

Keep the butt up don’t let the body come back down, stay up in caterpillar then move to butterfly. 😊

Is your caterpillar strong? I like entering from a caterpillar because it allows you to square the hips and shoulders. Then the arms have most of the weight and you can turn the hips and release the leg into extended butterfly. Here is the lesson for it https://stage.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4d0f72c7-bb30-4035-8905-6a420ac37250
