Anyone can learn to pole dance!!! I didn't start until a few week before I turned 30. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif There are so many amazing dancers on this site that are over 40 and LOT'S of moms!
The girls have great suggestions! The lessons here are in order so you don't have to worry about trying to figure out what to do next. You don't even need a pole to get started, many of the lessons for conditioning and flexibility do not require a pole. There is a Pole Strength Routine in the Beginner section that is a great workout. If you have questions on a lessson you can leave me a message on the video and I'll get back to you with help https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I myself will wrap my wrists from time to time during practice. Just with a normal ace bandge. I use it when I'm working a lot of split grips. You'll see it in some of my old pole practice videos, I even have a photo where I have one on! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2345099631625&set=a.1586974038959.74737.1374030246&type=3&theater I would bet that many pros DO wrap their wrist, but you don't see it because pole is an art and sport of beauty, so they probably don't perform with wraps. I think if I needed to wear them I would make sparkly wraps so I could perform with them! https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
The Kinesio, tape is different then the Strength Wraps…which look amazing by the way!
However I do not think we all should run out and start using wraps all the time for pole. If you only use aids such as wraps, then you are robbing yourself of the benefits of pole, which is gaining strength!!!! If you always work with wraps, or other aids you will not be strengthening these muscle groups.
To prevent injury…. condition, strengthen, stretch and work within your ability. Aids are great but use them wisely!!! https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

AdministratorAugust 11, 2012 at 11:28 am in reply to: Is it a must to attend a pole studio to learn poling?Echo, Your "level" will very depending on where you study…..some studios use levels 1 2 3 and so on, others use Beginner "level one" Beginner "level two" and so on.
I keep it simple and use beginner, intermate and advanced. Because everything on the site here is listed in order, all lessons here progressively build on one another, you don't really have to worry about level.

Yeah my brass here is grippy but in a smooth way, not rip your skin off way lol
-
The xpole brass is amazing to work with if you live in the right climate. I could not use my Brass xpole when I lived in the Midwest during the fall, spring or winter my pole space was too cold (skin didn't warm up enough to sweat). Here is Vegas my pole space is warmer and I myself, sweat more (I don't have cold skin and because I do sweat my skin isn't dry) so I really love my x pole brass!!
The Titanium xpole has been the most versatile finish, I can use this pole in ANY climate and it grips so very well! Its the pole I record the lessons on because it doesn't require "warm up" time for me to grip. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
TG has more grip and less slip than Chrome.

I like target bikini tops and bottoms also.

I'm just saw the post about her having a studio….I wasn't saying I think they are fake…I just want you to make sure that IF you want a 40mm pole she has one…..because the picture that I saw was of the older style xpole, with threading (this is not a 40 they only have joints) You could have her send you a pic of the 40 and if it has joints then go from there. If it has threading don't buy it.
-
The pic she shows is not a 40mm because it has threading and not joints to put the pole pieces together. All of the NEW xperts regardless of size have joints. Also the XPERTs are bottom loading not top. 🙂

If you want comfy full coverage pole shorts try poleskivvies. No center seam…..I love mine! http://poleskivvies.com/pole-dance-shorts/

oh I wanted to see that!!! Is it on network TV? or somewhere else?
-
The seller is saying 40 OR 45mm down at the bottom. So yeah, I think they just don't know a lot about the poles, or… they know that the 40s are new and popular right now so they're trying to get buyers buy using the term 40mm
-
Chem, I thought it said xpert? but anyway it's not a 40mm
-
They don't look like 40s and they are not Xperts…..the base is the old style and so are the poles themselves, where they screw together. The Xperts have joints that hold the poles together. They could be a 45mm or 50mm xpoles. The 40mm pole is fairly new, so unless by some chance these are from a test market area, and they happen "test" them using the older style, they are not 40mm Xpert poles! This person maybe nice but the pole in the picture is not a 40mm xpert…..
We are an authorized xpole dealer here, we offer Free shipping. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif
