Flexibility is something usually takes time. There are a lot of quick progress claims out there, but really everyone will progress differently. Some will find they increase quickly, others will be slow and steady! As mentioned, I do have stretching routines for helping you achieve splits, but I strongly suggest working on the individual stretching lessons first, before moving on the splits routines. This way you'll have the proper mechanics down and you'll get the most out of your stretching session! https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

If you have a clothes/fabric steamer give that a try, its how I clean my poles now…maybe it may help your slipping issue.

From what I have read, seems like Brass and SS are both good for the "glistening" dancer! https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gifTitanium gold and chrome are different than SS and Brass. But really you never know for sure what will work best for you until you try, even then conditions will change your grip.

Yay, he's great to work with isn't he?!! I'm a lucky gal, he's at my house right now…I think I'll keep him! lol https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif The link didn't work for me though.

Oh that target one is cute!

Yeah, Catseyes, play around with hand placement and also check your torso placement, I have found the more I can reach my back around the pole the more extension I get. So opening up from the hips is important. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I vote for the 45mm. You'll still have the studio 50s to work with anyway. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

You were probably over gripping. Also, if your body isn't prepared for it (lacking proper strength) or if your gripping wrong static spins are very hard on joints, like wrist, elbows and shoulders. Spin mode is simply doing holds/poses, while the pole moves you. Static spins are different. Check with a dr to make sure everything is ok. Then start working on some conditioning exercises for the wrist/elbows/shoulders. Be sure to stretch this areas after every pole session as well. Feel better soon!!! https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

SS is worse for some, not everyone. I know there are girls who love, their SS. But from what you've said I do think our skin type is similar and our climate. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
