We do not have that feature. But once you know where your moving you can make a post in the forum asking about local studios. You might want to check out the site as well http://www.polenation.com/

I think it’s best to use the lower calf/ankle area, then you can do this move with heels!! 🙂

AdministratorOctober 6, 2011 at 8:49 pm in reply to: Need encouragement and advice with strength!!Hi Aisha reid, https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif It sounds like your taking the lessons so I'll explain how to use them. Since you have been poling off and on I think you would benefit from starting at the beginning. If you watch the very first lesson, it explains how to progress through them to build strength. You can add in the stretching lessons to the end of your pole sessions to remind the muscles to relax. If you want to work on gaining flexibility then this should also be done after a workout, or later in the day…… Watching all of the "getting started" lessons for each section will explain everything. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

A lot of dancers stuggle with the strength needed for the Inverted V for a while. The upper back (traps, lats rombs), bicep and abs are all used heavily and you have to pull up against gravity. The Reverse takes less strength in those areas because gravity is your friend, your not lifting anything but opening up and holding position…..you do however need shoulder/scapula strength and flexibility for the bottom overhead arm and a good grip with the upper hand. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
