I have that going on right now too, so humid you can hardly breath outside… With any grippy pole you will find you have to be right on as far as body and hand placement because you can't just slip into the right spot once your up there. So its good because your forced to be precise, but yet frustrating. On the x poles or SS poles letting some grim build up can help reduce stickiness.

Not with the legs…..If its just the legs, have you made sure your skin is nice and warmed up before you pole. If you have a bit of sweat on them they will grip better. I have dry skin and if I'm not warmed up or if I forget to put lotion on a few hrs before poling (not right before) I can't grip.

Totally fine bringing up this old thread! https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Alesha…Sounds like your in need of some Pole specific core strength work. I have some great conditioning exercises here if your taking the lessons.
Some people hear core and think abdominal work only but real core work, consists of both the abdominals AND the back, to avoid a muscle imbalance. Yoga and Pilates is another great option! It does get better!! oh here is a video you might like as well….It talks a bit about the belly after baby. https://stage.studioveena.com/videos/view/d650d310-c3b4-11df-bc90-001b21721e0c

Yep, BACE is right. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Most of the Pole Strength you can do without a pole, just use a door frame or wall instead. There are also important Conditioning lessons in the Conditioning section, that do not require a pole either. All things a new dancer should work on. You could also do the floor work lessons as well.
The Foam Roller section is structured towards using the roller for flexibility. I will be adding 2 amazing Flexibility Routines, one for Front splits and one for Middle. These routines will also incorporate the Foam Roller.

Update: The first routine will go up on MONDAY https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif

@ gingercake…did you conact BK about your issues with it? I'm guessing its somthing they would want to know about. They are looking to improve and feedback is the only way this can happen.

Ok good! 🙂 I didn't want you feeling like I was trying to force you to buy lessons!! I know your internet isn't optimal for video. I just was responding to issues you had with other dvds so others could see I had addressed those in my lessons. I'm very proud of the work I have done for all of you. xoxo

Oh that would be!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wanna make sure your not thinking I was posting the links just for you Nymph…I posted them so others can see what I offer……

I don't use 8 counts…because most ppl are not use to that.

Oh I should add each routine is split into sections so you can learn one section and work on it for a few days then move on to the next!
