You can go ahead and work on transitions, floor and other moves in the beginner section now…just add it on at the end of your "beginner" full body workout. If your looking to save time (once in a while) you can do only the squats and skip the other low body exercises but be sure to do the upper body https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I have some new lessons on the way that are going to focus on stretching! For now here is an OLD YT vid I posted with a few basic stretches for splits. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZMEGqdgGRs&feature=channel_video_title

If your working heavily a move that is using a muscle group that tends to be tight for you, try stretching in between every attempt at that move. Also stretch the muscle group for sure at the end of your pole sessions. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Working on building up the latissimus can help make the waist look smaller. My suggestion though..is to learn to love your body. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

If anyone is worried about x poles you shouldn't be, they are great! Its all I use, in every video I make and every lesson (except my very first vids) I use x poles. I have 7 or 8 now. When installed right they are VERY secure. I have never had an x pole fall…BUT I have had my PERMANENT PS pole fall! ANY pole can fall if not installed properly.

Guys, here is a better video on what they do (what the class it about)….the first vid was kinda unclear and I assumed the studio was called "pole fitness for jesus" I thought that was so odd, because it really limits who may want to dance in that studio. But this vid explains it better. I do agree Jesses that we don't need to justify pole dance by using religion or calling it fitness. This class could be a good option for those who would feel uncomfortable in a "secular" pole setting.

ahhhh….. the video made it sound like the name of the studio was Pole fitness for Jesus LOL I was like how odd. This is why I dislike media, always making things look a bit askew….
