Don't feel bad at ALL! You did great! I can understand how you feel. I know my first time performing I did not do very difficult tricks. Its better to use solid moves that you feel comfortable with then bust out something where you could sip. Now you know what the conditions could be like and you'll be more prepared next time!!! Or you could just do what I did…break your foot and not use the pole at all. LOL https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

The girls have some great idea's! Being nice and fully warmed up before dancing and warming your pole well is soooo helpful! https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I include tips for avoiding the collarbone in all of the Shoulder Lessons. https://stage.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4d6bac4d-8044-4fa9-9aaa-66300ac37250 Check that your placing the pole on the traps right by the neck and not off towards the outside of the body/shoulder.

I agree that pointed feet, extension, lines are important….BUT….this takes time for pole dancers to learn. Many members here don't even have a dance background. The majority of members here are also new to pole and this will be something they work towards…..Keep on dancing everyone we can't all be perfect. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Pointed feet are important but I feel its more important that you all enjoy pole journey.

Try recording what your planning on doing for floorwork or a pole routine for that matter, and watch it over and over and over. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
