Everyone did such a wonderful Job!!! It’s always amazing to see live pole dancing. Webmaster has everything recorded 🙂

I do it in this vid at around six mins in…..I prep for it differently than the girl in the previous vid. I do a tuck sit, place the arm, then open pressing with the inner thigh.

I have the cure!
Take a picture….then photo shop it! LOL That's what we see in magazines anyway. Most real woman have cellulite. I'm still self-conscious about it but I'm trying not to be. I'm thin always have been, and have cellulite. Drinking water (staying hydrated) affects it the most. It sucks, but eh, what are you gonna do….If someone doesn't like it they don't have to look at me. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif
If your worried about it showing in videos go with red or purple lights they hide stretch marks, scars and cellulite really well.

My first CD was Petra….a Christian group. I think I'll have to think back on the first non Christian CD, Hmmmmm. I'm sad I have been missing out on the challenges this yr. I'll have to try and catch up on them when my foot is better.
@ amcut….I use to love big willie style LOL

@ Olivia….My lessons are OLD? lol I don't have a single lesson on the site from when we first started….I'm on my 3rd update as far as lessons and bringing dancers NEW information on moves. I literally just posted an updated lesson TODAY. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

@ Sues, I think everyone feels that way at some point. So your not alone there! The first practice back after being off the pole tends to be terrible, at least for me anyway.
Because you have had shoulder and wrist troubles, it sounds like you may need to work on things that will build strength before you work on spins and inverts. Starting with some conditioning exercises for the wrist and shoulders, would be better than rushing into pole work. If you are taking the lessons you can find conditioning exercises for both wrist and shoulders that you might wanna check out. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Here CeledaBcn….this is the warm up dance HellsBells is talking about. https://stage.studioveena.com/lessons/view/80540840-b88a-11df-856f-001b214581be
You can do anything that raises your heart rate, like jogging in place, doing strength work. The nice thing about the warm up lessos is I show you moves that also warm the pole at the same time as your body 🙂

Mindy it has a lot to do with the placement of the torso. Twisting the upper body towards the pole is how I create a nice line without using the back of my arm. I have a heck of a time trying to use the arm now.

Everyone will move into inverts in their own time. Some never invert and there is nothing wrong with not inverting. Be sure that your not only doing the strength wor,k but are following the lessons in the order they are placed. This will also help you to build the strength and control of your body you need for inverting. Don't rush inverts. Once you have mastered pole climbs, holds and most spins then you can start working on inverts https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
Here is another lesson that will give you a few tips for working the abdominal
Also feel free to take a look as the some of the other lessons like Inverted Crucifix…there are a few that can be learned without needing to invert, and I show you how.
