Pink….If you could post a video of yourself it would be easier to see what is going on. But with what you have said I'll give you these tips.
If your doing it from the floor you have to come up high on to the shoulders…. as high as you can, so get yer butt up there lol. If your too low it will be harder to get the right position for the legs. Then remember for both the CKR and CAR the upper thighs need to be in contact with the pole… as in fully tipped UP towards your body before you lift. Chances are its a placement issue and not lack of strength. You can do it!!
Remember you can always post a question directly on the lesson as well and I will get back to you asap! https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Yeah, there are times when the husband does get jealous of all the dancing/vids I do for others. But when it gets to be night time I don't feel like dancing I'm tired and just want to rest! LOL He spends more time on FB that me so he can't complain about that!

I only TG off the pole also and mostly from one side. I have a shoulder I need to be careful with so I don't do any TG moves with it. I totally feel we should try to learn all moves on both sides if our bodies are capable.https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_safesex.gif

Holly….you can do any challenge at anytime. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif So if there are some you have missed feel free to do it. Just be sure to label the video with the month so we all know what challenge it's for.

@ Savyhomeowner The problem with the boomerang is not so much that you might fall…..its also a matter of possible poor arm positioning causing injury to the shoulders, elbow or wrist this along with inadequate strength this can cause many new dancers troubles.

@ Spiltsugar…..the old photos will not be high quality….try uploading a photo to the new site and it should be fine.

Glad your enjoying the lessons https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif Yes we all have different body shapes and shorter dancers can look like they have bigger muscles, your just more compact! I would love to have a build like that but I’m an ectomorph build so naturally my muscles look long and I’m stick like. lol You can still have beautiful lines with a shorter body type….just think of trying to extend out through your fingers and toes! Like your shooting energy out from them https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif
