The Chair spin is a prerequisite for learning the Reverse grab spin and you should already be able to do The prance before working on this spin. I’ll show you 2 hand placements and you’ll learn how to do a Reverse chair spin and a combo! This tutorial covers static and spinning pole skills.
How many rotations is good on static? Because I’ve got it, but I can only do 1, maybe 1.5 is I get good momentum. On spin I can get a good couple fairly easily.
In a competition 2 full rotations counts as a good spin. 1.5 is a great start in static!

Well maybe it’s changed, but back in the day when comps were new it was 2…I still say 2 😉
