Thank you Jolene and Princess, I’m glad it was helpful!
Saphyre, I completely agree!

This video has some tips for using a spinning pole. 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtinAzp17s0

Also if the 10 mins of stretching was done before working out, I would suggest switching your stretching to the end of your workout.

Ssecnirpc, were these your first workouts in a while? If so Johnssdeere is right, it’s probably just soreness from getting back into things. Just make sure you are eating well and sleeping.

I would contact lil mynx for any trouble shooting. 🙂

The creaking noise is normal. 🙂

Runemist, The spin mode pin should not be difficult to pop up and down, you can actually adjust it (screw it up or down) and change how stiff it is.
Shelliebelly, I have my SV pole on carpet and it works the same as on my hardwood I don’t know if the carpet would be an issue. Try adjusting the pin. Also the Lil mynx poles do not spin as freely as say and xpole, so keep that in mind.

The related lessons should be added to the Bridge now. 🙂

Hmmm looked like I haven’t added any related lessons for that one. I’ll add some when I get back. I may not have added any to the stretches yet, but I can! However, yes, working on the stretches shown previously will help, because they are for the most part placed in progressive order.

I’m so happy your enjoying the lessons! Don’t worry about lifting up yet, that is the advanced variation and it takes time to build the strength and flexiblity for that. You’ll find “related” lessons below the main player that you can use to help you work up to the full bridge.

Using a cup grip is harder AND yes a better option for the body then a twisted grip. It’s also an iron X regardless of grip! Some instructors will get very defensive if they feel you are learning somewhere else, also many instructors are not informed when it comes to what’s safe and appropriate.

Oh I’m so happy to hear it went well!!!

They’ve said NEVER use alcohol on this pole. I also found it made the pole kinda slick, and they say it will dull the finish!! So NO alcohol!! I don’t use anything most of the time, just a dry clean cloth works on this pole. If the pole needs a good cleaning I use steam or windex if I’m in a hurry. Mighty grip doesn’t make my hands too grippy for the pole, but that’s just me.
