Great suggestion JeHanne!! If it's just pressure from the knee pressing into the floor you could also use a folded towel or blanket under the knee. Or you can use a yoga block to help hold yourself…. Like in this lesson https://stage.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4dfb5178-ba64-438e-8bf4-5f360ac37250

lol, no worries. I'm really bad with writing out what I mean to say. I'd rather just make a video!!

Yes, half jade or what I call half hip hold, the inside leg is tucked not overhead, the outside leg is extended, like the Split hip hold/jade….new lesson for this will be posted soon!! I think I would call polergirls variation an allegra or jade variation depending on hand placement. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

It shouldn't be painful, but you may have to back off of the stretch a bit, if your going from not squared hips to squared. You will feel a more intense stretch with squared hips! https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif

I will say, sometimes it hurts a bit if they catch my on a bad day. But, I've learned I don't want to waste my time responding to hateful people. I have better things….positive things, to put my time and energy towards. Like helping others. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I know, there are several vids that recived nasty comments about me on a weekly basis. It’s ok, you learn to ignore it. I go through every now and then, to remove or block comments and people. It’s all good, they’re just unhappy people. 😉 thanks for your concern!!! Xoxo

Haven't decided yet. Any ideas?

Usually yes, the more flexible hamstring should be the leg you pull towards your face. But…always try both side, you never know. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

There are 3 ballerina's….The Ballerina, the Twisted Ballerina and a Ballerina spin. I'll be uploading these lessons very soon, possibly this week. Please be careful with your shoulders. I'll have a Flexibility readiness test in the lessons for everyone. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
Ballerina (keep in mind this one is advanced because the leg is pull so far up) https://stage.studioveena.com/galleries/view/4f883620-04d0-4c6d-82be-250c0ac37250

I haven't heard much about Rpole lately. I'm also 5' 8 and the x stage works great for me because it's so tall and stable. Even on spin mode or at the top! https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
