RubyTuesday, it's totally normal too feel like one side is more of a challenge.https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif But as others have said, it is important to work both sides of the body, especially if pole is your main exercise! You may not be able to do EVERY move on both sides but it's always good to keep at it. And always try BOTH sides when leaning something new, sometimes the side that feels most natural may surprise you. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Hi, I have not had any trouble with sequins scratching, but I have had rhinestones leave little scratches. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif It would still be worth watching for scratches though.

Hello and welcome to the site!! You may also like to try out Friday chat day to meet some new pole buddies. It's every Friday all day long and it's the day when the chat room has the most people in it. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I love my X pole 45 Titanium. My TG has not faded, and I've had it for 3 yrs now. I'm told that if it does fade it doesn't affect the grip. However….. I had one section fade after having someone dance on my pole and they used Itac! I don't use any grip aids.

Depending on your starting position the Twisted grip variation could be considered a cartwheel or handspring. Some start with the head looking down swinging the leg in a cartwheel motion, others start with the head and chest up so it would feel more like a handspring.
Either way I do not suggest using the Twisted grip for mounts!!

I don't know why so many use the term handspring for all mounts. The direction is different for the Cartwheel and Handspring. Here is one video I have showing both. I might have another but not sure…

If your planning on taking the lessons Kgarner, then you don't have to worry about where to start or what to work on next. I have designed the lessons to go in order and take you from very beginner (no experience or fitness background needed) with strength building included all the way to advanced! Be sure to watch all of the "Getting Started" Lessons for each section, first. These videos have important info on how to use the lessons and how to structure your pole sessions. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif

I don't think anyone on this thread mentioned being compared to strippers Oliviaaa. The whole point of this thread is all in fun and it's about stripper names. https://stage.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
